the storyteller.

I have a messy history when it comes to writing bios and introductions for myself. On the one hand, I quite enjoy writing and speaking about myself. On the other hand, I want to get this description of myself just right, and there's just too much to sum up in a few paragraphs, so I start overthinking, and procrastinating, and the bio page remains nonexistent.

Bio pages and I have a love-hate relationship. So here's what I know for sure.

I write about what I know. I have more questions than answers, and that's a good place to start.

I am loved by my Creator, no matter how many times I may doubt it.

I am a storyteller and an artist first. Thoughts and words and feelings fill up the spaces inside me; I write to give them a voice, and make way for more thoughts to come.

I believe there's a strength and beauty in expressing sadness, so I write about my dark moments and low valleys. But I'm learning to recognize and capture and share the light as well.

I'm a 4w3 so/sx 463 and INFP. If you're really into personalities, I'm a blue-green temperament.

I love acting and I plan on having a career in film and theater. Acting gets me out of my introspective head and into a character's. It takes the focus off myself while still allowing for self-expression. And the more I do it, the more I fall in love with it.

I was recently on an internship as an ambassador with the Institute for Cultural Communicators until January 2022.
